MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has allotted electoral symbols to 24 registered political parties as part of preparations for upcoming elections.
According to sources, the commission distributed symbols among all registered parties to facilitate the electoral process ahead of the next polls.
Under the allotment, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has been given the electoral symbol of “arrow,” the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) “lion,” Jamaat-e-Islami “scale,” and the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference “horse.”
Officials said the exercise has been completed in line with election preparations for the upcoming electoral cycle in the region.
