KARACHI: The MT Sargodha has arrived in Karachi carrying 65,029 metric tons of crude oil.
The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) has confirmed that another vessel is also en route with crude oil. MT Karachi 12 and Karachi 13 are scheduled to reach Karachi Port on March 12 and 13, respectively.
Discharge operations have already been completed for 42,000 metric tons of crude oil from MT Sargodha, while the remaining 23,000 metric tons are in the process of being transferred.
Additionally, PNSC’s third vessel, MT Shalimar, is expected to arrive in Karachi with more crude oil on March 13.
This movement of crude oil comes as Pakistan has started shipping oil via the Red Sea after the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
