Pakistan Shocked Over Flood Devastation in Syria

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has extended its deepest condolences to the government and people of the Syrian Arab Republic following the tragic loss of precious lives and extensive material damage caused by the recent flash floods in north-west Syria, particularly in the regions of Idlib and Latakia.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad today expressed Pakistan’s heartfelt sorrow over the devastating floods and conveyed thoughts and prayers for the victims and their families. It also wished a swift recovery to those injured as a result of this natural disaster.

The Foreign Office emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the government and people of Syria during this difficult time of grief, reaffirming the country’s support in the face of such a calamity.
