Punjab Orders Inspections, Tightens Security for Govt Schools

LAHORE: The Punjab Education Authority has directed all government schools across the province to strengthen security arrangements ahead of expected visits by inspection teams formed on the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab.

According to official directives, schools have been instructed to enforce strict monitoring at all entry and exit points, prohibit the entry of unauthorized individuals, and ensure that the identities of all laborers working on school premises are properly verified.

The Education Authority has also ordered 100 percent attendance of head teachers and Class IV staff, warning that no unauthorized absence will be tolerated during inspection visits by the Chief Minister’s teams.

In addition to security measures, schools have been instructed to take immediate action against child labor within school premises and surrounding areas.

Special instructions have been issued to District Education Officers (DEOs), Assistant Education Officers (AEOs), and head teachers to ensure compliance with the directives and maintain readiness for the inspections.

The inspections are aimed at reviewing security arrangements, staff attendance, and overall administrative standards in government schools across Punjab.
