Bangladesh Defeats Pakistan to Win Decisive Third ODI

DHAKA: Bangladesh clinched the decisive third One Day International (ODI) against Pakistan, winning by 11 runs to take the three-match series 2-1.

Chasing a target of 291, Pakistan was restricted to 279 for 9 in 50 overs, falling short despite a valiant effort from middle-order batsman Salman Ali Agha. Agha played a brilliant innings of 107 runs, marking his third ODI century, but he could not forge a match-winning partnership.

Captain Shaheen Afridi contributed 37 runs, but his efforts were not enough to prevent defeat.

Bangladesh, batting first, posted a competitive total of 290 for 5 in their allotted 50 overs, laying the foundation for their series-clinching victory.

With this win, the hosts secured the ODI series 2-1, leaving Pakistan reflecting on missed opportunities in the final match.
