NEW YORK: The Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai, attended a family Iftar dinner hosted by the Pakistani American Law Enforcement Society (PALS) of the New York Police Department.
The event brought together families of law enforcement personnel, community leaders, journalists, and police officers from diverse backgrounds, reflecting the spirit of unity and shared values.
Addressing the gathering, the Consul General commended PALS for fostering community cohesion and promoting friendship and inclusivity across communities in New York. He particularly appreciated the organization’s humanitarian relief efforts both in Pakistan and in New York during times of natural disasters and other calamities.
He noted that PALS’ continued dedication to maintaining peace, security, and public service remains a source of immense pride for Pakistan and the Consulate General in New York, and lauded their commitment to strengthening community-police relations.
