NEW YORK: Consul General of Pakistan in New York Aamer Ahmed Atozai received in his office a delegation of leaders from the Pakistani Dental and Medical Students Association of New York University.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, with particular focus on strengthening academic and people-to-people linkages between Pakistan and the United States.
The discussion also covered the possibility of arranging educational visits of NYU students to Pakistan in order to enhance their understanding of the country’s medical and academic landscape.
The Consul General appreciated the contributions of Pakistani students in promoting a positive image of Pakistan abroad.
The participants also explored the idea of launching a dedicated platform for career planning and counseling for students aspiring to pursue higher studies in the United States.
