Dar Calls Makkah Defence Pact Key Strategic Step

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has described the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye as a major step towards strengthening the strategic partnership among the three countries.

In a statement posted on social media platform X, Dar said he was honoured to attend the signing ceremony of the trilateral Makkah Joint Defence Agreement in Makkah.

He described the agreement as a historic development that would further strengthen strategic cooperation and deepen the longstanding brotherly ties among the three nations.

Dar expressed hope that the partnership would contribute to greater peace, stability and mutual prosperity in the region while further consolidating the fraternal relations among the three countries for future generations.
