KARACHI: Several major films released on Eid-ul-Adha 2026 have made a strong impact at the box office, with Zombied and Psycho emerging as audience favorites.
The horror-thriller Zombied, starring Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat, has particularly captured the attention of Gen Z viewers. The film’s gripping storyline and powerful performances have drawn large crowds to cinemas, with many shows running house-full nationwide.
Regarded as Pakistan’s first major zombie horror film, Zombied has impressed audiences with its intense scenes and high production quality. The film was released globally in collaboration with Geo Films and has been widely praised for bringing a fresh genre to Pakistani cinema.
Meanwhile, Psycho, featuring Shaan Shahid and Meera, has also performed strongly, adding to the festive box office success. Both films, backed by star-studded casts, have contributed to a vibrant Eid season for the local film industry.
