MUZAFFARABAD: The Election Commission of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has issued official notifications for the successful candidates in 21 constituencies following the completion of the second phase of the AJK Legislative Assembly elections.
The notifications cover nine constituencies in the Muzaffarabad Division and 12 constituencies reserved for refugees living in Pakistan.
According to the AJK Election Commission, Shah Ghulam Qadir was declared successful from LA-25 Neelum Valley-I, while Mian Abdul Waheed won LA-26 Neelum Valley-II.
In Muzaffarabad, Noreen Arif was declared successful from LA-27 Muzaffarabad-I, Syed Bazal Ali Naqvi from LA-28 Muzaffarabad-II, and Sardar Iftikhar Ahmed Khan from LA-29 Muzaffarabad-III.
The remaining successful candidates include Dr Mustafa Bashir Abbasi from LA-30 Muzaffarabad-IV, Saqib Majid Raja from LA-31 Muzaffarabad-V, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan from LA-32 Muzaffarabad-VI, and Dewan Ali Khan Chughtai from LA-33 Muzaffarabad-VII.
For the refugee constituencies, Nasir Hussain Dar was declared successful from LA-34 Jammu-I, Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail from LA-35 Jammu-II, and Muhammad Ahsan Raza from LA-36 Jammu-III.
The Election Commission further notified Maryam Javed as the winner from LA-37 Jammu-IV, Zeeshan Ali from LA-38 Jammu-V, Raja Muhammad Siddique from LA-39 Jammu-VI, Amir Abdul Ghaffar from LA-40 Kashmir Valley-I, and Muhammad Amir Shah from LA-41 Kashmir Valley-II.
Other successful candidates are Syed Shaukat Ali Shah from LA-42 Kashmir Valley-III, Muhammad Yasin Lone from LA-43 Kashmir Valley-IV, Muhammad Ahmed Raza Qadri from LA-44 Kashmir Valley-V, and Abdul Majid Khan from LA-45 Kashmir Valley-VI.
