LAHORE: A family theatre play, Chand Kab Niklay Ga, was performed at the open-air theatre in Bagh-e-Jinnah, where families turned out in large numbers and applauded the performers.
Director and writer Goshi Khan presented social behaviors and societal contradictions through satire and humor. A strong script, engaging dialogues, and impressive performances kept the audience thoroughly entertained.
The play featured female artists performing their roles in line with the script, with no dance sequences included. The cast included senior actor Javed Waseem along with Hassan Murad, Zafar Irshad, Yousaf Anjum, Tauqeer Zaidi, Babar Abbas, Hasnain Haider, Ejaz Beli, Huma Ali, Aisha Mani, Sonia Chaudhry, Saadia Sheikh, and Jiya Siddiqui among others.
