PESHAWAR: Five members of a family lost their lives and eight others were injured when the roof of their house collapsed in a remote village of Khyber tribal district in Khyber Pakthunkhwa province.
Rescue 1122 and police officers said that the incident occured in the remote village of Alacha.
They said that the condition of the house was dilapidated due to which it caved in. All the 13 members of the family were buried under the debris.
Rescue 1122 staffers and local people removed the debris and found five of the family members dead and the others injured.
The dead bodies and the injured were shifted to hospital.
