MUZAFFARABAD: Former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Raja Muhammad Zulqarnain Khan, along with his family, has officially joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
A high-level delegation from PML-N recently met with Raja Zulqarnain Khan and his family, formally inviting them to join the party.
During the meeting, after consulting with their political colleagues, Raja Zulqarnain Khan and his family indicated a positive interest in joining PML-N. They have now officially announced their membership.
Raja Zulqarnain Khan stated that he has long-standing ties with the Sharif family. He praised Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif for their exemplary roles in the development and progress of both Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Raja Zulqarnain Khan hails from Bhimber district in Azad Kashmir. In the 2021 elections, he had supported a candidate from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
