SARGODHA: Four persons were shot dead by their rivals over an old enmity in Sargodha city of Punjab on Thursday, police said.
According to the police, the incident and in Sabarwal Colony located on Khushan road in Sargodha. The four persons were returning after appearing in a court when their rivals opened fire on them killing them on the spot. Three passerbys were injured in the firing, said the police.
The attackers had waylaid in the area for over an hour for the victims as they had an old enmity. After killing the four persons, the attackers reached their Mohalla and opened firing into the air and then fled.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz took notice of the incident and directed the police to submit a report. The chief minister also ordered the police to arrest the culprits.
