SKARDU: The federal government is actively pursuing development initiatives in Gilgit-Baltistan, with a strong focus on infrastructure, education, and energy, Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam said on Saturday.
He was speaking at a ceremony of the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme at the University of Baltistan in Skardu.
The minister highlighted that several development initiatives are underway in the region, including the construction of roads, solarization projects, and the establishment of Danish Schools to improve educational standards.
Amir Muqam also urged students to make effective use of laptops, describing them as an important tool for achieving academic success and building a better future.
