ISLAMABAD: As a New Year gesture for the public, the government has announced a significant reduction in petroleum product prices.
The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 10.28 per liter, bringing the new rate to Rs 253.17 per liter. High-speed diesel has also seen a decrease of Rs 8.57 per liter, with the revised price set at Rs 258.08 per liter.
The Ministry of Energy has issued a notification implementing these new prices, which will remain in effect for the next fifteen days. The move is aimed at providing relief to consumers amid fluctuating fuel costs.
