Injured Babar Azam Ruled Out of First Test Against Bangladesh

LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team’s star batter, Babar Azam, has been ruled out of the first Test against Bangladesh due to an injury.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Babar will not be available for the opening Test because of a left knee injury.

The team’s medical panel is currently assessing the severity of his injury. A PCB spokesperson added that he will be allowed to resume practice once the nature of the injury is fully evaluated.

The first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh is scheduled to begin on May 8 in Dhaka.
