Invest Pak Portal Launched to Boost Foreign Investment

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has launched the Invest Pak Portal, a digital platform aimed at promoting foreign investment and simplifying the investment process through a one-window facility.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said the portal marks the beginning of a new era for investment in Pakistan and reflects the government’s commitment to providing greater ease for investors. He said the country offers vast investment opportunities and the portal will help attract more foreign capital.

Aurangzeb also highlighted efforts to encourage domestic investment, saying individuals can invest as little as Rs5,000 through the JazzCash app. He added that participation in the Pakistan Stock Exchange has increased, with special efforts made to encourage Gen Z and young investors.

State Bank of Pakistan Governor Jameel Ahmad said the Invest Pak Portal would play a key role in promoting digital investment by providing online services to investors.

He added that the country’s economy is moving towards stability, while the one-window system and modern digital infrastructure will improve transparency, efficiency and investor convenience.
