ANKARA: A special ceremony was organized at the Pakistan Embassy in Turkey to commemorate the first anniversary of the historic “Maarka-e-Haq” victory.
The event drew a large number of participants from the Pakistani community as well as representatives from various countries and military officials.
The event highlighted Pakistan’s achievements during “Maarka-e-Haq,” national unity, and the strengthening of Pakistan–Turkey relations. Speakers on the occasion described the event as a symbol of peace, stability, and the struggle for national sovereignty in the region.
Participants paid tribute to the leadership of Pakistan’s civil and military authorities, praising their efforts in preventing a broader regional crisis and promoting stability in Central Asia.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Dr. Junaid, said that May 10 would always be remembered as a landmark day in the country’s history. He emphasized that while Pakistan is a supporter of peace, it will never compromise on its sovereignty and independence.
He added that “Maarka-e-Haq” is not only a moment of celebration but also a renewal of the commitment to national defense and constant preparedness.
A special documentary highlighting key aspects of the historic victory was also screened during the ceremony, receiving strong appreciation from attendees.
