ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications Shaza Fatima Khawaja has said the government is pursuing an ambitious digital transformation agenda aimed at modernising Pakistan’s economic and administrative systems.
Speaking to a delegation of overseas students under the “Mitti Ki Pukaar – URAAN Pakistan” initiative in Islamabad, the minister said the government was focused on digitally empowering the country and expanding the use of technology across key sectors.
She said equipping Pakistani youth with advanced digital skills was a priority, enabling them to compete effectively in the global job market and take advantage of emerging opportunities in the digital economy.
The minister highlighted the importance of developing a digitally skilled workforce as Pakistan moves towards a more technology-driven economy.
