Pak-China Diplomatic Ties Mark 75th Anniversary with Ceremony

LAHORE: A ceremony was held to celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China at a private residence in Lahore.

The event was hosted by analyst Muhammad Mehdi at LDA Avenue and was attended by several prominent figures, including Chinese Consul General Sun Yan and senior journalists such as Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami, Hafizullah Niazi, Sohail Warraich, Naveed Chaudhry, and Saleem Bukhari.

Other notable attendees included politicians and public figures like Pervez Rashid, Yasir Habib Khan, Dr. Iftikhar-ul-Haq, Zubair Bashir, and Shafqat Mushtaq, along with members of the Punjab Assembly including Safdar Ali Khan, Mian Imran Javed, and Rashid Minhas

A cake-cutting ceremony was held to mark the milestone of 75 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Speaking on the occasion, Consul General Sun Yan described Pakistan-China friendship as “everlasting and exemplary,” emphasizing that both nations would continue to strengthen mutual trust and cooperation in the future.

The event highlighted the long-standing strategic partnership and close bilateral relations between the two countries.
