ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and the Czech Republic have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations, with both sides expressing interest in expanding cooperation across multiple sectors during a high-level diplomatic meeting.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Petr Macinka on the sidelines of a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) briefing, where discussions focused on enhancing existing ties.
The two leaders welcomed the steady progress in relations and emphasized the potential to deepen collaboration in trade, investment, science and technology, education, and people-to-people exchanges.
They also exchanged views on regional and global developments, agreeing to maintain regular high-level engagements and further consolidate cooperation between the two countries.
Officials said the meeting reflects a shared resolve to build a stronger and more dynamic partnership moving forward.–APP
