PHA Lahore Gets Rs1.2 Billion in Punjab Budget 2026–27

LAHORE: In the Punjab Budget 2026–27, the government has proposed an allocation of Rs1.2 billion for various development projects of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore, according to official budget documents.

The budget papers indicate that multiple ongoing and new development schemes under PHA Lahore carry a total estimated cost of around Rs14 billion, while only a limited portion has been allocated for the upcoming fiscal year.

Under the proposed allocations, the Lahore Ship Project, with a total cost of Rs540 million, has been assigned Rs270 million for the next financial year. Similarly, the Railway Track Green Corridor project, estimated at Rs1.7 billion, has been allocated Rs100 million.

For the Ring Road Forestation Project, with a total cost of Rs4.19 billion, Rs100 million has been proposed for the next fiscal year.

The documents further show that Rs79 million has been allocated for the landscaping project from Abdullah Gul Interchange to Barki Road.

Additionally, Rs150 million has been proposed for the Kamran’s Baradari Project, which has an overall estimated cost of Rs498 million.

The budget reflects continued investment in urban beautification and green infrastructure projects, though allocations remain significantly lower than total project costs.
