ISLAMABAD: A week-long campaign will roll out in seventy-nine districts to protect children under five from polio on Monday.
The drive, which will continue until the 24th of this month, aims to reach around nineteen million children with life-saving anti-polio drops.
In Punjab, nearly six point one nine million children in ten districts will be vaccinated.
Sindh will cover about five point seven nine million children in twenty districts, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will reach approximately four point six one million children in twenty-three districts. Balochistan will vaccinate nearly one point nine nine million children in twenty-five districts, and in the federal capital, around four hundred fifty thousand children will receive the drops.
The government has arranged strong security measures for vaccination teams, who will go door-to-door to ensure every child is protected against this crippling disease.
