BOONI: In Upper Chitral’s district headquarters Booni, the Traders Union organized a rally to support the Pakistan Army and protest against Indian aggression and the Modi government’s policies.
Retired Subedar Rahim Khan led the rally, joined by General Secretary Zakir Muhammad Zakhmi, former President Muhammad Shafi, Senior Vice President Muhammad Aslam, and activist Rahmat Salam Lal.
Protesters chanted pro-army slogans, condemned India’s state terrorism, and symbolically burned Modi’s image and the Indian flag. They carried banners denouncing Indian policies and expressing unity with Pakistan’s armed forces.
Speakers accused the Modi government of creating regional tension to hide internal failures. They affirmed the nation’s unwavering support for its army.
Rahmat Salam Lal rejected India’s water threats, declaring, “We stand with our military like a wall, unshaken by such threats.”
Rahim Khan thanked the public and the press for highlighting the people’s voice. He said the rally honored the soldiers defending the nation and reaffirmed national unity.
