RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned recent Israeli military activities in southern Lebanon, calling them a violation of Lebanese sovereignty and international law, and urging the global community to take immediate action.
In an official statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia expressed serious concern over what it described as Israeli incursions and attacks in Lebanese territory.
The statement said that Israel’s actions undermine Lebanon’s security and stability and have resulted in civilian casualties, warning that continued escalation poses a threat to regional peace.
Saudi Arabia urged the international community to hold Israel accountable under international law and to take necessary steps to prevent further violations against Lebanon’s sovereignty.
The kingdom emphasized that protecting Lebanon’s territorial integrity and ensuring the safety of its people must be a priority for global institutions.
The statement adds to growing international diplomatic reactions over recent tensions in the region, with several countries calling for restraint and renewed efforts toward de-escalation.
