RAWALPINDI: In yet another intelligence-based operation, security forces killed at least five terrorists in Mullazai area of Tank district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a press statement today stating that terrorists killed in the operation had remained involved in numerous terrorist activities against law enforcement agencies as well as in extortion and target killing of innocent civilians. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered during the operation.
“Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists present in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” it added.
For a year or so, terrorist attacks on security forces have increased especially in KP and Blochistan.
