Spain declare Covid test mandatory for entry

MADRID: The Spanish government has made the PCR test mandatory for travelers from other countries. The test must be 72 hours old. The new resolution will soon be included in the official gazette and will come into force on November 23.

Prior to this, there was no such law for entry into Spain. In this regard, a health control form has been issued for the passengers which must be filled and kept by the passengers before entering the country. While filling out the form, the PCR test is 72 hours old and passengers must complete the form in Spanish or English.

The document must be original and can be viewed on a computer or mobile phone. In addition, original PCR test papers can also be requested from passengers. The form is available at http://www.spth.gob.es. Form boarding must be submitted upon arrival in Spain.

However, the new move by the Spanish government follows recommendations from the European Union. The aim is to control the spread of the epidemic in Europe.
