DAMBUllA: Sri Lanka Women defeated Pakistan Women by eight wickets in the decisive ODI to clinch the three-match series 2-1.
Batting first, Pakistan were bowled out for 187 in 40 overs, with Fatima Sana scoring 41 and Gull Feroza making 40.
Sri Lanka chased down the target comfortably, led by an unbeaten 71 from Harshitha Samarawickrama, who was named Player of the Series for her consistent performances.
All-rounder Chamari Athapaththu delivered a match-winning performance, scoring 52 runs and taking three wickets. She was named Player of the Match.
The result gave Sri Lanka a 2-1 series victory after Pakistan had won the second ODI by five wickets.
The two sides will now turn their attention to the three-match T20I series, which is scheduled to begin on July 31 in Dambulla.
