DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A suicide bombing at the residence of Noor Alam, the head of the peace committee in Dera Ismail Khan, during a wedding ceremony resulted in the death of five people and left several others injured.
According to police, the explosion occurred near Qureshi Mor during the wedding celebration. Initial reports confirm that five people have been killed in the attack, and numerous others have sustained injuries.
The blast took place during a music program at the event. Law enforcement, rescue teams, and bomb disposal squad members have arrived at the scene. The wounded were transferred to nearby hospitals where some of them were in critical condition.
