DUBAI: Israel has carried out an airstrike targeting a girls’ school in the Iranian city of Minab, resulting in the martyrdom of 53 students, according to Arab media sources.
Iranian state media also confirmed that the Israeli attack specifically targeted a girls’ school in Minab, located in the Hormozgan province. As a result of the strike, 53 students lost their lives, and 63 others sustained injuries.
Iranian officials stated that the Shajra-e-Tayyiba School was directly hit, leading to the tragic deaths of numerous students. Rescue and emergency operations are currently underway at the scene, while local authorities assure that the security situation in the city remains under control.
