Terrorists will be hunted down till their surrender: COAS

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has emphasized that terrorists, their affiliates and abettors working on the behest of hostile agenda to destabilize Pakistan, will be hunted down until their surrender to the state of Pakistan.
He was interacting with officers and troops deployed in Sherwangi area near Asman Manza in South Waziristan District today, where six soldiers had embraced Shahadat yesterday while fighting gallantly against terrorists.
The army chief appreciated their unflinching resolve in fighting the menace of terrorism.
General Munir said that Shuhada are our pride and their sacrifices will not go in vain till the return of complete peace and stability in Pakistan.
He was also given a detailed briefing on the prevailing security situation including ongoing intelligence and counter-terrorism operations.
Upon his arrival, the army chief was received by the ommander of the Peshawar Corps.
