The Indian brutalities and human rights abuses continued in the illegally occupied Kashmir where rampant killings, abductions and enforced disappearances continued without any check at the hands of the occupying forces.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, at least 13 people were killed in separate fake encounters in various parts of the occupied valley in September alone.
Moreover, eight youth were critically injured after being shot by Indian paramilitary and police personnel in the territory in the same month.
On the other hand, 157 people and political activists were rounded up and taken away to unknown places. Most of them were picked after being booked under black laws while 248 cordon and search operations were conducted by occupation forces.
Call by international human rights organizations to pressure India to stop the human rights violations have fallen on deaf ears, but Indian extra-judicial and extra-territorial killings through its agencies have even rocked the West with Canadian government accusing the Indian agents of killing a Sikh separatist leader in June this month in Canada.
