Four more soldiers lay down lives fighting terrorists

Three terrorists killed in an operation carried out by security forces in Khyber district of KP, says ISPR.

RAWALPINDI: Four soldiers of Pakistan Army, including a lieutenant colonel, embraced martyrdom while fighting terrorists in the tribal district of Khyber in KP province on Monday.

The army personnel carried out the operation in Tirah valley and while fighting lost the four personnel. The army personnel killed three terrorists and injured three others, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The martyred personnel were identified as Lt Col Muhammad Hassan Haider from Islamabad, Naek Khush Dil Khan, Naek Rafeeq Khan and Lance Naek Abdul Qadir.

A day earlier, nine terrorists were killed when they tried to attack a training airbase of Pakistan Air Force in Mianwali.  The ISPR said three aircraft already grounded at the base along with some fuel bowsers were damaged in the attack.

It may be mentioned that on November 3, terrorists targeted a convoy of the army going to Ormara from Pasni in Balochistan and MN martyred 14 army men. 

Terrorists attacks on the army have increased in Balochistan and Khyber Pakthunkhwa provinces after Taliban takeover of Kabul Afghanistan in 2021.
