Tribunal formed to probe killing of four by CTD
Shutter-down, protest by family continued for sixth consecutive day.
TURBAT (BALOCHISTAN): While the provincial government on Tuesday formed a tribunal of inquiry, shutter-down protest and strike continued in this town of Balochistan against the killing of four persons a week ago.
The four persons were shot dead by personnel of the Counter-Terrorism Department. Relatives of one of the victims still refuse to end their sit-in without burying the dead body.
The government issued a notification for the formation of the tribunal of inquiry led by the secretary fisheries department Imran Gichki with a direction to submit a report in two weeks.
The family of one of the victims identified as Balach Mola Bakhsh saud they would continue their protest unless the culprits were arrested.
Meanwhile, all markets and other business centers remained closed in protest against the killings on the call of Baloch Yakjihati Committee.
Protest demonstrations were also held hy the residents. The protesters also blocked traffic by burning tyres on different roads. They were also chanting slogans demanding justice for the families of the victims.
