ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday ordered an investigation after a picture of former prime minister Imran Khan appearing before the court via video link from Adiala jail went viral on social media.
Imran Khan joined the hearing into a case against changes made to the NAB laws. Earlier, the court had ordered the Punjab and federal governments to make arrangements for the former prime minister if wished to appear in the court via video link.
Today, Imran was hooked to the court proceedings but he could not get a chance to speak about the case. However, his picture went viral on social media even though the hearing was not shown live.
Later, the apex court ordered an investigation against those who leaked the picture with a direction to the police to take action against the responsible.
