QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti on Friday said that security forces deserve praise for bravely rescuing passengers of the train by terrorists in Bolan area.
He was speaking at a press conference along with ISPR Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry. Bugti said strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Jafar Express and said that the way the Pakistan Army made it possible to release the hostages was commendable and “I pay tribute to the security forces for the successful operation.”
Sarfaraz Bugti said some terrorists had broken the traditions of the Baloch. These are terrorists who want to destabilize Pakistan. These terrorists who want to break Pakistan.
The ISPR chief on the occasion said the attack on the Jaffar Express in Balochistan was a continuation of India’s terrorist mindset in Pakistan. He said the terrorists who attacked the Jaffar Express were in contact with their handlers in Afghanistan.
He also spoke in detail about the attack on Jaffar Express and the operation to recover the passengers.
He said that the most difficult area for terrorism was chosen. The Jaffar Express was stopped by terrorists through an IED blast. The terrorists were in several groups; one group kept children and women inside the train and the rest of the passengers were brought out of the train and put on the ground.
They used women and children as a shield but the security forces conducted an operation and rescued passengers and killed the terrorists.
