BANNU: In the Hawaidar Dardriz area of Bannu, armed militants associated with a banned organization attacked the local Peace Committee office, resulting in the deaths of seven individuals.
According to police officials, the assailants targeted the office of Qari Jalil, head of the Peace Committee, during the nighttime attack.
The deceased have been identified as Danish, Kamran, Waliullah, Sufyan, Muhammad Niaz, Noman, and Sufyan. The injured individual was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police have launched a detailed inquiry into the incident, while security forces continue to monitor the area for any further threats.
