ISLAMABAD: Senior politician Mahmood Khan Achakzai has been appointed as the Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, following his nomination by PTI founder Imran Khan.
Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq summoned PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar and Aamir Dogar to his chamber, where he formally issued the notification of Achakzai’s appointment.
A PTI delegation, led by Chairman Barrister Gohar, attended the speaker’s office to receive the official document confirming the new appointment.
