ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Soheil Afridi has departed for a three-day visit to Karachi, where he announced plans to hold what he described as the largest public rally in Karachi’s history.
Before his departure, the chief minister arrived at Islamabad Airport, where party workers and supporters gathered to meet him and take photographs. Several members of the provincial cabinet, along with national and provincial lawmakers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, accompanied him.
Ahead of his visit, Soheil Afridi released a video message addressed to party workers in Sindh, stating that he was traveling with a message from his party leader. He instructed workers to begin preparations immediately for a public gathering scheduled to be held on Sunday at Mazar-e-Quaid.
The chief minister claimed that extensive political activities have been planned across Sindh to ensure maximum participation in the rally. He urged party supporters to actively take part in the planned street movement and show full support.
During his visit to Sindh, Soheil Afridi is expected to hold meetings with party leadership and engage with lawyers, traders’ associations, media representatives, and the Chief Minister of Sindh.
He will also participate in various official and public engagements during his stay in Karachi.
