Ailing Actress Provided Financial Assistance
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has extended financial support to celebrated actress Sabra Sultana during her illness.
The assistance was delivered personally through a cheque by the Chief Minister’s Special Assistant Rashid Iqbal Nasrullah, who visited the actress at her residence to inquire about her health and well-being.
Rashid Nasrullah conveyed the Chief Minister’s heartfelt wishes, stating that Maryam Nawaz is praying for Sabra Sultana’s speedy recovery. He emphasized that artists are a valuable asset to society and that the Punjab government remains committed to safeguarding their rights and providing them with comprehensive support.
“The Chief Minister prioritizes the welfare of the people while ensuring that artists receive recognition and the best possible facilities,” he added.
Expressing her gratitude, Sabra Sultana lauded the support of the Muslim League-N government, saying that it has consistently valued the artistic community and stood by them during times of difficulty. “I am deeply thankful to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her generous support and concern,” she remarked.
