ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s newly-appointed Ambassador to France Mumtaz Zahra Baloch presented her letters of credence to French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday, said the Foreign Office here.
In this regard, a ceremony was held at the Elysee Palace where Ambassador Baloch presented her credential to the French president and conveyed best wishes to him on behalf of his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
“Highlighting the strong foundation of Pakistan-France relations, the Ambassador expressed the desire of Pakistan to further expand and strengthen bilateral ties with France,” said the Foreign Office.
Ambassador Baloch affirmed her commitment to contribute to the expansion of bilateral relations in political, economic, scientific, educational and cultural domains and promote people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and France.
