Another consignment of relief goods sent to Gaza

Special plane carrying relief items departs from Nur Khan airbase for Egypt.

ISLAMABAD: Another consignment of relief goods was dispatched to the war-affected people of Gaza by the government of Pakistan, a statement issued here said on Sunday.

A special plane of Pakistan Air Force carrying the relief items departed from the Nur Khan Air Base. The goods consisted of warm tents and blankets.

The special flight will land in Egypt where the Pakistani ambassador will receive the relief goods and send them to Gaza by road through the Rafah crossing.

This was the sixth relief shipment of 100 tonnes of relief goods arranged by NDMA. So far, a total of 230 tonnes of relief goods have been sent by Pakistan to the suffering people of Gaza. Earlier too the government had dispatched needed items to Gaza via Egypt.

The people of Palestine are in desperate need of essential medical and food items as the Zionist state has continued bombing the Gaza strip since October 7. 

Over 26,000 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes abd thousands of families displaced. The Zionist state has even not spared hospitals and refugee camps leaving no room for sheltering even for children and women.
