ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced on Wednesday that the price of petrol was being cut by Rs8 and diesel by Rs5 per litre for the next fortnight.
The new prices of petrol and high-speed diesel are Rs262 and Rs253 per litre, respectively.
On April 30, the government had also brought down the POL prices for the fortnight.
The price of light diesel oil was also slashed by Rs5 per litre to Rs147.68 while there was no change in the price for kerosene oil.
