MUZAFARGARH: In a landmark step towards bolstering its modern combat capabilities, the Pakistan Army formally inducted the Z-10ME attack helicopters into its aviation fleet.
The induction ceremony, held under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, was followed by an impressive live-fire demonstration at the Muzaffargarh Field Firing Ranges.
The Z-10ME, a cutting-edge, all-weather, multi-role attack helicopter, is equipped with advanced radar systems, electronic warfare suites, and precision-guided weaponry, enabling effective engagement of both aerial and ground-based threats in day and night conditions. The induction marks a significant leap forward in the modernization and combat readiness of Pakistan Army Aviation.
Witnessing the high-intensity firepower demonstration, the Army Chief lauded the tactical precision and combat effectiveness of the newly inducted platform. He emphasized that the Z-10ME would play a pivotal role in enhancing the Army’s integrated battlefield response, allowing for swift and decisive action across a spectrum of operations.
Addressing officers and troops at the event, Field Marshal Munir commended their exceptional morale, professionalism, and operational preparedness, noting that the display reflected the Army’s commitment to staying ahead in the evolving character of modern warfare. He particularly appreciated the seamless execution of combined arms tactics, showcasing the force’s ability to deliver synchronized, multidimensional effects on the battlefield.
Earlier in the day, the COAS visited Multan Garrison, where he was briefed on the formation’s training programs, combat readiness, and strategic posture. Expressing confidence in the formation’s capabilities, he reaffirmed the Army’s unwavering resolve to defend Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs.
