ISLAMABAD: Nine Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers, including three members of the provincial and national assemblies, have been transferred to Attock Jail following their arrest in Islamabad.
Among those moved to the prison in Attock are former Member of National Assembly (MNA) from Khushab Malik Aslam and his brother, Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Hassan Malik. Additionally, PTI’s MPA from Jhelum Rifaat Shah along with six other party workers were also transferred to Attock Jail.
According to jail sources, all those moved to the district jail have cases registered against them at the Secretariat Police Station in Islamabad. The transfers are part of ongoing legal actions involving PTI leaders and activists.
