DUBAI: Pakistan and India will clash once again today in the Asia Cup Super Four stage in Dubai, in what is expected to be one of the tournament’s most high-profile encounters.
The match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. local time, with Andy Pycroft serving as match referee.
On Saturday, the Pakistan squad held an intense three-hour training session at the ICC Cricket Academy. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also met the players, boosting morale and expressing confidence that the team would deliver a strong performance.
India previously defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the group stage. The rivalry intensified after a post-match handshake controversy and subsequent political remarks by Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav, further straining relations between the two sides.
Fans from both countries are eagerly awaiting today’s showdown, with expectations of a high-voltage contest.
