ISLAMABAD: A report by the United Nations agency UNICEF has stated that at least 200 children have lost their lives due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East involving the United States and Israel aggression against Iran.
The report details that during the conflict so far at least 181 children were killed in Iran, including a school bombing, 7 children died in Lebanon, 3 children were killed in Israel and 1 child died in Kuwait
UNICEF highlighted the devastating impact of rising military tensions on children in the region, emphasizing that children do not start wars but end up paying the heaviest price.
The agency’s findings underscore the urgent need to protect children and safeguard their rights amid the escalating violence in the Middle East.
