LAHORE: The cricket team of Bangladesh has arrived in Lahore to play Test matches in against Pakistan.
After landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport, the guest players were taken to a hotel under tight security. The team will have rest in the hotel today and on August 14th, the Bangladesh team will have a net practice session at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
The Bangladesh team is scheduled to play two test matches in Pakistan. On August 17, they are expected to fly to Islamabad where they will play a Test match at the Rawalpindi cricket stadium from August 21.
The second Test match will be played between Bangladesh and Pakistan at National Stadium Karachi from August 30.
It may be noted here that the BD team also has Shakibul Hassan who was a member of the parliament in the Sheikh Hasina Wajid government who was forced to resign after protesting students stormed his house in Dhaka last week.
Many of the the members of Sheikh Hasina government went underground while some have been attacked and even Supreme Court chief justice and six judges considered close to Sheikh Hasina were forced to quit.
However cricketer Shakibul Hasan was in Canada during the protest in Bangladesh and came to Pakistan from there.
