Bomb Explosion Damages ANP Leader’s Vehicle in Swat

SWAT: In the Shakardara area of Matta, a roadside bomb exploded on Wednesday, causing damage to a vehicle belonging to ANP leader Mumtaz Ali.

According to police, no casualties were reported in the blast. The explosion occurred near the car of Mumtaz Ali Khan, a former ANP candidate from PK-9.

Mumtaz Ali was on his way to attend a funeral when the explosive device, planted approximately 300 feet from his residence, detonated. The police have deployed a substantial force to the site, and a thorough investigation is currently underway.

The bomb blast occured a day after 12 people were killed and scores of others injured in a suicide bomb explosion outside the judicial complex in the heart of the federal capital of Pakistan.

It is important to note that a peace jirga is also being held today in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the provincial government’s initiative, aimed at maintaining law and order and promoting stability in the region.
